Hello, I bought wife a Ipod 1 year ago. Used daughters computer and internet service to transfer 200 CD's to Ipod. Since then daughters computer was destroyed in fire.I recently purchased a new Ipod and computer and internet service for myself. and wife. When I [plug her Ipod in it says that it has another library in itunes. That I cannot add to it in the new library.
How do get access to all of the songs that are in her Ipod so I can put them into my computer. I also want to add more music to both. I cannot add to hers

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.5

All you need is to transfer the music/videos on her iPod back to the new iTunes library. Simply use some iPod-to-iTunes transfer program to help you, like this one called iPod 2 iTunes You can download it from http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/iPod-2-iTunes.htm

Many of my friends used it, and they recommended it to me. It can help copy all music/playlists/videos from iPod back to iTunes in a direct way. Normally takes a few seconds.

After transfer, all songs/videos are on your new iTunes library that any of you can syn with whenever you wish to without deleting any files.

Best luck!

Ipod is one of the famous portable media players. Although it is very small in size yet you can store many things in it. You can store many songs, videos, pictures in it. But you can save all these only when it supports that file format which you are playing. Otherwise you can use ipod file converter software which easily converts the files into ipod playable format.

My case is sort of like yours. I have two iPod but one computer.and these two iPod keeps different content .Everytime i plug my iPod to the iTunes,i have to ignore the auto sync since my iPod has different content as iTunes. My solution for this is transferring my iPod's back to iTunes and then sync it to the iTunes. And what i am using is Aniosoft iBackup to transfer all the content from iPod to iTunes. This tool is awesome and so far so good.
