Hey guys,

I have a computer running Win2k3 with a 320GB SG drive. It currently has 30GB C partition and rest is 290G D. I have about 180 GB free on the D drive and almost nothing on my C: drive. I would like to extend my C: drive and make it about 60GB.

This is a one time thing so i dont want to spend too much money on an expensive software.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

It is true that all the server partition software are at least 200 bucks.

You can safely extend c drive without data loss. Here is an article introducing some free methods to resize server partition, be free to check it http://www.geeksdo.com/free-partition-software-server.html

It seems that Bill Britt is a capper of paragon, I've checked it costs $299, why bamboozle us by "free". searched in google and found partition magic alternative, easeus partition master. it is around 100 for server, I like this SW, check partition-tool.com/partition-magic/Windows-Server-2003-partition-software.htm

I dont agree with Longtail.

Easeus Partition Manager Server priced at $159 with resize/move partitions, no merge/split partitions

Paragon Partition Manager priced at $299 with resize/move partitions, merge partitions, recover partitions etc.

Partition Wizard Server priced at $119 also with resize/move partitions. cheaper than Easeus.

I dont think price really counts in partitioning tools. What really counts is the stablility, quality. However these can only be tested by the users.
