Ipod Nano Wont Charge, Apple Logo Appears.

My Ipod Nano 4th Gen, 8GB doesnt charge when plugged in. When i plug in the dock connecter, the apple logo appears, after few seconds the normal home screen appears and then it shows the empty battery sign with an exclamation mark.
I've tried different computers, different dock connecters, wall chargers, tried resetting but it just won't work.

Please Help me.

That sequence continues again and again, (the apple logo, home screen and empty battery sign). It's obviously getting power as this sequence never stops.
please help
