Hello, I have an HP workstation which is connected to my internet router via a LAN cable and an HP laptop which connects wirelessly to the router. Both can access the internet with no problems at all, the laptop showing as accessing McFadster Net (my wireless connection) and the PC shwoing as connecting through a Local Area Network.
The workstation is running Windows XP SP2 and the laptop is running Vista.
How do I set up a network (I guess that's what I want) so that I can share files and the printer which is attached to the HP workstation?
I'm sure this is an old question and I apologise for asking something which is obviously fairly basic, but I'm not sure how I make everything see each other and get the printer and files to share.
Configuration: Windows XP SP 2 on workstation and Windows Vista on laptop
