Hello,
I accidentally deleted C:\Windows\System32 Now i cannot open firefox, IE, control panel files, and i cannot operate any downloads. How can i reinstal this? Do i need the windows XP CD or can i get it fom the net? Whenever i run anything it tells me, "Create an association in the folder options control panel". I deleted C:\Windows\System32 from a reg cleaner program. i cannot even do a system restore as it will not open either.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated im realllly stuck!!! Thanks!!

Well, if you deleted system32 while running windows, you might be able to recover the files by going to the recycling bin, right click to get the menu, and hit restore!

But, if things are not as easy as that, you will need to grab your windows XP CD and reinstall (not reformat) the operating system. This means you'll have to grab your manufacturers recovery CD as well, to install all the drivers.

Well what you can do is goto the computer manufacturers website and download all the drivers yourself once you got your computer to boot into XP.
So just read very carefully on the windows install prompts. Don't do any reformats, just reinstall the operating system.

And all hope is still there :)
