Hello hondahrv,

My hard drive has two slots one is a CD - ROM drive, HL - DT - ST DVD - ROM GDR8163B and a DVD drive, PIONEER DVD - RW DVR - 109RD.

I am able to assess the Registry Editor and I think I need to modify the Edit Flags menu but I do not know what to enter there.

When I reboot I get a pop up message saying "found new hardware" as I was able to uninstall the devises in the device manager.

If you think I am on the right track please let me know I would appropriate it greatly.

Thank you'
