Using ide hard drive with sata connection
Last answer on Jan 17, 2009 7:34:48 pm GMT artglassbob, on Jan 17, 2009 6:52:11 pm GMTHello, I am trying to help a friend to add a 2nd hard drive (WD 80GB IDE) to a HP system (Vista). I have installed a ide/sata adapter, installed the ide drive, connected it to the motherboard, but it does not show as a device on the computer, either under the device manager listing of disk drives or using Windows Explorer. Any suggestions?
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.5
