Sound/ethernet problems after re-installing

Hello, i re installed Windows XP today and it currently says i have no sound for a start and i dont know to find out my sound card which means im struggling to get drivers as i dont know what my sound card is.
Secondly i have plugged in my regular ethernet cable expecting it to automaticly reconize it, but it doesnt reconize that either.
Can anyone help?

Hi,
it seems that you have lost the drivers.
if you have the driver cd you should reinstall the drivers.
if you don't have it, you can give the make and model of your devices, i will find it for you.

Where would i find out the makes/models of the devices, as i dont have a clue!
