Dowloading an excel 2003 file in office 2007

Hello,

I am in hotmail and I am trying to open an excel 2003 file and I can not... it just keeps getting file information, I am running win vista and office 2007.... My word documents download 2003 files with no problem to 2007.

Please help, thanks

Hi,
normally you should be able to open Office 2003 in 2007.
its rather the contrary which you need to do some modifications.
it's just that when you are saving the file, you should save it to "Word 97-2003 document"
check in which format you have downloaded the file.
