Hello,
I am trying to use the Advanced filter...and copy the info to different worksheet.
It's not working out for me :(

I have been trying to do this for about 3 weeks now........
I clicked on the the Advanced Filter on the worksheet that I want the info to copy to titled "Completed"
I highlighted my database on worksheet titled "Sheet 1"

Looks like this
List Range Sheet 1'!$D:$E$A$1:$G$2
Criteria Range 'Sheet 1'!$I$5:$J$6
Copy To: 'Completed'$A$2:$G$2

I either get the "extract range" error or nothing at all happens. Please help!!

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

I was just trying to play with this again. Using the same above info...I changed the Copy To destination to Completed!$C$2:$D$40 and I get this error message:

"The destination range is not large enough to accommodate all copies rows. Data below the destination range will be lost. Continue copying anyway?"

The best thing to do is to use the advance filter and copy the information to a cell on the same spreadsheet. You should then be able to cut and paste this data to your Completed sheet. Seem the long way round but it works!
