I have been using a little free software called "safehouse explorer". It is designed to do just what you are describing, which is to protect your info. You can create as many folders as you want, and protect each one with a password. Try it. You are going to love it.

Hi buddies! I am very sorry to say this no such password protecting software is available for normal pendrives, only u can do that in U3 models. so dont accept any exe file from assholes & get into troubles urself. only u can hide folders by folder lock software the problem is u cant access ur folder if u dont have software installed in other conputers. so no freeware utility so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can your pendrive by giving a password.
procedure:
1)copy the download link " short.computerera.co.in/usbenter".This is the download link of very small kb .
2)After downloading the usbenter software, the pendrive which you want to lock connect to the computer.
3)Install the usbsoftware which only can install in the pendrive.
4)Now give a password for the software.
5)In installing the software in the pendrive first of all it formats so the data in the pendrive is copied in some other place.
6)After installing the software you can copy the data to your pendrive.
