I downloaded the iso from the mircosoft website.
i mounted the iso image and ran the installation.
took a while to install then it restarted my computer and installed more and more.
then when it was finally done, i got a black screen after he windows 7 logo start up.
and it said
"Windows 7'
'For testing purposes only build 7000"

then i left my computer running for another hour and i got:

"Windows 7'
'For testing purposes only build 7000"
"This prdouct is not a genuine copy'

or something like that.

then i try to boot with safe mode and it said it was nt done installing and it needed to restart my computer in order to finish installing.

please help me.

You should be talking to Microsoft - this is just the kind of feedback they want from a Beta product. Google to find the Windows 7 forum.

I had the same issue, so i took your advice and unplugged the second lcd monitor and just like you sad, it finished installing windows 7. It works great, but when I plug the second lcd monitor, windows 7 will not completly boot up. I went to Nvida and downloaded the lastest driver for the xfg260 card, but it didnt help. So currently i have just one lcd monitor running and I really want to get the second lcd monitor hook up asap. any idea's??

You can boot again from the Windows DVD and choose to repair the bootinfo so Vista starts again.

If your video card has two DVI outputs, try plugging the monitor into the one you're not currently using. It seems that sometimes the NVidia drivers loose their mind and think you're running a dual monitor setup when your not. This has happened to me several times now.

Hi !!
well ! Basically before you install or upgrade windows 7
Required hardware like the configration should be 64 bit processor and 2 Gb mb of ram unless untill hardware is not upgraded than you would have the problem

Thanks and regards
