Wifi antenna

Hello,

i'm having a problem with a low wireless signal and i'm trying to find a good and cheap solution to expand the range of my PCI wireless card, i was thinkinig to buy the d-link ANT24-0700 2.4GHz Omni-Directional 7dBi Indoor Antenna, my question is, Can i connect this antenna directly to the PCI wireless card instead of the router???

Hai

You must connect it to the device or devices you need to amplify. In most cases the signal is bad at both ends not just one side. A diredtional antenna may fix it at either side but for best results you may need both sides with a directional or gain antenna. Assumes a lot of things too. You can overshoot and get too many signals.
