Can't get metal gear substance to play

hi I'me celina and new to this forum

I'm a big fan of metal gear solid, and i got the metal gear substances and for some reason and can't get the graphic to display properly. In the game settings, for the graphic settings, there a message saying

adjust your monitor brigthness until the grey scale below can't be seen

What does that mean?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0

Haha mate just ajust your pc brightness through the game itself...ain't that complicated

go in options and in adjust brightness and thus adjust it using the cursor dear

dear go to the main menu and enter in options screen and choose brightness adjustment and then just increase it
