Powre point and word 07 problem

Hello,
I finally got SP-1 yesterday and I have a problem with Word and Powerpoint. When closing either application I get a message that basically says that the app. has stopped working and can't close properly. Then it says that it will check for a solution and MS will notify me if there is one. I have already sent an e-mail to MS support yesterday and am still waiting for a reply. Before SP-1 was installed both apps. worked alright so I am assuming that SP-1 did something funny to them. Excel and Outlook are running normally. If anyone has any Ideas on how to fix this problem please let me know
