hi,
try this:
Go to the start menu,
search for HP Health Check,
right click and go to properties,
click the short cut tab,
and then go down to the short cut window.
The short cut for this program is also ctrl+shift+c,
so just change it and your cheats window should work fine.

I uninstalled the game seconds before coming across your bulletin. I was thinking a fresh install might fix things... Though I must ask. How did you come across this conclusion. And so everyone knows, money in this game is fairly easy to come across.

okay I have a lil seacret to tell you all. okay its kinda not soo lil. the sims 2 sucks on vista. vista computers dont read them right or something. and cause many promeblems for game play. I learned that from talking on the phone for about 2 hour with tech support. yeah I had the same thing wrong. they couldnt fix it and they pretty much said the same thing about vista as I did. well then my mom got on the computer and looked it up on similar web sites. And this is a big one instead of Usein shirft+c+ctrl, or instead of doing all that stuff that one person did. just press shift+ctrl+the widows key+c all at the same time. Haha it really works to.! try it! I was ammazed that it was just that simple!
