I spent a lot of time today trying to get rid of this.
Thanks for the explanation and the registry locations for this.
I was able to manually delete it after I got that info. Everyone else seems to have completely different ways of fixing this an this is the first to work.
Though the only problem is... I was never able to find the .exe that was causing all the problems. It doesn't seem to be where the registry says it is. Not even hidden.
