Hello,

Try this 1
  • 1) Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator" : https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/5911-autorun-exterminator/
    • Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" --> Plug your External hard drive now.
  • 2) Click on Start --> Run --> Type control folders and press Enter.
    • "Folder Options" will be opened.
    • Click on "View" tab --> Select the option "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck the check box "Hide protected operating system files" and click on OK. Now look for your files in your flash drive.

Hello,
Try this 1
1) Make sure Dot Net Framework is installed in your PC to run "AutorunExterminator"
Click on the below link and download the Dot Net Framework.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en
2) Follow the instructions given in the step2. If the problem still exits then once again go to
folder options and check whether the changes made by you is saved or not.
Good Luck
