Hello,

I have an Asus X50GL and i dropped it and broke the screen, however the computet element still works.

I tried connecting it to a monitor and i am aware you have to push some buttons to actually get the output to run through to the monitor but i dont know what button it is.

Please can you have i have massively important files and lack of funds

Hello,

Try this 1

Connect an external monitor to your laptop. Just look for the VGA connector

( there will be a monitor symbol ) in your laptop and connect it to the external

monitor then switch ON your laptop.

Note : If you failed to get the display in external monitor, then use the proper

combination keys(like Fn+F5/ the function key that's having the monitor symbol

on it) to toggle between your laptop screen and the external monitor.

Good Luck
