Annoying antivirus pop up

Hello,
I too have the annoying virus from a windows icon. Please tell me an easy way to remove it. Geek Squad will charge me $200 to remove it. Too much money for me. Can anyone help me?

log on to https://sites.google.com/site/pctuneuppctuneup/

click on Malware Byte's & run that program...

Delete infected items...
Restart
the Computer....

Are you absolutely sure this is safe? I've only had this laptop for 1 1/2 months. Have you used it before?
