Non working usb ports and function keys

Hello,
Can anyone please help me my hp pavilion dv 6000, my usb ports are not working and also the function keys.I formatted the hard drive and insalled windows xp and after installed windows vista back.This was when the above problem i have asked above started. I will be very grateful if someone is able to help me find solution to my problem. Thanks

Sounds like you need to download the Vista drivers for the laptop. go to www.hp.com - click on support and enter your laptop model. You then need to download the driver package(s) and install them. That should fix things. Good luck.
