Help! on ipod touch applications

Hello, Can you guys help me out with this.
Ive been using my ipod touch and itunes 8.0 for months already.
But still im having hard time figuring out how to install the applications i got from the itunes store.
One site says that i should be seeing a 'sync applications' tab. There's none in mine.
How come? i believe that its the latest version.
Or do you guys have any ideas on how in other ways i can install these applications?

Hi Stacy,

I had a similar problem then. I could not install the applications as well. I finished downloading the applications from istores but just could not get them into my ipodtouch after clicking many times on the sync tab located at the location I view my ipodtouch status. The only difference of my problem from yours is I can locate the sync tab.

The applications finally entered my device after installing the software update 2.2 which I purchased at 9.95.
All the sync worked after the software installation.

SBONG is right I also had the exact same problem and when I downloaded version 2.2 everything started to work fine

Hey , i have this new ipod touch 32 g , i downloaded a few apps on Itunes .
The problem is i cant get the apps into the Ipod i`ve been trying for days now !
SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE !
