4th Gen Nano Frozen [Solved]

Me - Latest answer on Aug 11, 2012 07:54PM
For the past 3 days, i've read/tried everything (short of disassembling), and this is where i'm stuck -
*Apple logo frozen on screen
*Can get into disk mode and iTunes recognizes ipod, but when I reboot, just get Apple logo and nothing else (and iTunes does not recognize unless in disk mode) -
*Have restored (when in disk mode) in iTunes
*Have run diagnostics mode
*Have 'dropped' nano
*Have updated Apple driver
*Have installed latest version of iTunes
Please help!

Greatings,
Follow this instructions:

1 - Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button.
2 - Keep both buttons until the Apple appears.
3 - Then release only the top button but still hold the home button pressed.
4 - The iPod goes into recovery mode and then you can restore it via iTunes

Regards!

Thanks very much for taking your time in responding - I did as suggested, but nothing happened beyond reverting from the Disk Mode screen back to the Apple logo screen - Windows & iTunes will only recognize the iPod in Disk Mode, even after following steps 1-4

What I did, was after it went to the Apple logo screen, I THEN plugged it into the laptop and iTunes recognized it, then it magically fixed... haha
