Connecting an iMac to a network

celinebios, on Monday 21 April 2008 à 12:27:23
Hello,

I would like to attach an iMac to my network. Purchased a WUSB54GSC ( Linksys USB Network Adaptor).

The iMac won't read the install CD and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Seeking "how to".

Thanks.
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

That adapter has no Mac drivers. You need to get an adapter that has Mac drivers. Which OS is your machine running, OS 9 or OS X? If you go to the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner and down to "About this Mac", it will tell you the OS version and the CPU speed, which will let us figure out which model it is.
