Hello,
I have a small Dell Mini and the battery was going low so i went to plug it in and by mistake i plugged the cord in from my photo printer. The computer shut down with in seconds. I turned it back on and it works fine but as soon as i plug in the correct cord for the computer it shuts down with in seconds. I turned it on and back off and i plugged it in with the wall charger and the light shows it is charging but the computer does not charge. Can anyone let me know what I need to do to fix this or what the problem might be? Did I fry the connection for charging? Help!!!

Hello Loveqh,

You are right, you might have caused damaged to the hardware components or even the battery. The charger distributes a certain voltage of electricity and this should be respected.

This is what has surely happened and I will advise to send it to a Repair Shop for detecting which hardware component has fried. If ever it is the battery that has been damaged, you can easily detect it by trying another one on it.

Thanks.
