When do you get this message? Normally this is given when reading network files without the proper password - you get a "Access denied" message

I don't know about the previous poster, but I get the error when I try clicking on any URL in AIM 5.9. it gives me the error and won't open the link. it just asks me for a program to associate. i've reinstalled AIM and updated firefox. this makes me think it's a DDE problem in XP. I've tried disabling DDE but it won't let me... that's never happened before.

Check if DisableChangePassword is enabled in REGEDIT....this will block the command : "net user administrator *"

if yes....then well....let me know when you figure it out :)
I`ve been going at it som some time now...does not look like there`s any way around.
This really sucks because i need to get admin-rights on a school computer....so I can use it for other things than just schoolwork ;)

When you look for the disablechangepassword in regedit, where do you look for it? I don't really want to look forever in the registry! :P thanks...oh and I tried finding it in FIND but no luck?
