Is it possible to put mac10.4 on 10.3.4

Hello,
im not 2 familliar with mac.
i have a mac 10.3.4 at work and i have the cd for mac 10.4 im trying to instal it but it keep's telling me "this software can not be instaled on this cumputer"........event better i tried putting back my 10.3.4 cd and i cant event instal this one not event the software bundle

help!!!!

Odds are the disk you are using is from another mac and will not work with you works mac

If you get a generic Tiger and your computer fits the base configuration then yes it can be installed

You have to first update your system to Mac 10.3.9 then you can download 10.4
