Hi
I am vinod

I installed windows into my hard disk... later i also installed linux... both were working fine for some days.
later i was not able to use windows properly and it was too slow. Used to hang always. I then removed linux
from windows using disk management.. Later when i restarted i was not able to get into windows... It was showing grub error.. Then i tried to install windows again. But windows cd itself was not booting... i tried all bios settings.. nothing worked out.. But linux cd was detected and also booting. Now only linux is in hard disk..
please guide me how to install windows and remove linux....

Hi vinod,
it must surely be due to the cable that links ur cpu to ur hard disk which might have been accidentally disconnected.so i would kindly advise u to make a technician check it out or at worst it may be that ur hard disk has crashed dear goodluck to u ;-)

Hi
I asked in one of the computer show room near to my house, he told its some media problem, I dint ask about it in detail
since i had to go to work. he told he can do service. I also verified in seagate service centre. they told, if the hard disk is under warranty they replace with new one and dont do any service on hard disk.

You need a bootable partition management program that can remove the Linux partition. Once removed Windows will then install. This is a link to a free program that MIGHT work:

A Linux bootable distro CD (like Ubuntu) can also be used to delete the Linux partitions.

Good Luck
