Never fear "Red Wolf" is here!
To get sound from your PC to your TV (tube aka CRT TV, Plasma, Rear Projector, etc.) it is real simple;
First, find the "Line Out" or "Speaker Out" feature on your PC (either on the PCI Sound Card, or on board sound on the PC/Laptop). The "Line Out" or "Speaker Out" usually has a circle with what looks like multiple closed parenthesis and an arrow going out.
Second, look around your home to see if you have a "1/8" male plug to Phono (aka RCA) female Y-Adapter".
If not, go to your nearby electronic store such as "RadioShack", "CompUSA" (if you live in Texas, Florida, or Illinois), or "CircuitCity" (if you live in Canada). Check out these two sites below to see what they look like:

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102673
Third, find RCA aka Composite Audio cable (Red for Right side, White for Left side)
Check out this site for visual example:
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3452165 {6-Ft. 1/8" Stereo to Dual Phono (RCA) Plug Y-cable cost $8.99}. Please note that this wire is preferred if your PC is close to your TV, otherwise go for 12 foot cable!
Fourth, connect the 1/8" plug to your PC's "Line Out" or "Speaker Out" jack, then connect the "RCA" aka "Composite Phono" plug (Red & White) to the back of your TV's RCA AUDIO JACK (unless it is a newer TV then those jacks would either be located at the front behind small closed door (or no door), OR on the side of the TV.
However, if your TV does not come with RCA AUDIO/VIDEO JACKS, you can purchase a device called an "RF MODULATOR", which connects to your TV through coaxial cable and has RCA AUDIO/VIDEO JACKS as well as a power plug.
I know I may have dragged this out a bit, but I just needed to make sure you understand how to connect PC sound to your TV, which is basically no different then connecting a Sony Playstaion 2 or Microsoft XBOX sound to your TV.
I hope this helps, let me know how it turns out!
