My cd-rom error

Hello,
my cd-rom (HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-H23N) cant read any dvd..(software,movies,etc.) but it can read audio cds or cd softwares, and it can burn on cd-r..can you help me?

It may be that the lense has cought up some dusts!
try to use a dvd cleaner, if this does not cure the problem, then it might tell that your drive's lense is failing!
time for a change!

Actually, this is more of a model/rom ver. problem. I have 3 gcc-h23n drives doing the same thing, but when I try LG dvd driver model gcc-4522b rom ver. 1.02 it works just fine. I'm hoping to find a firmware upgrade for the GCC-H23N and hope this will fix the problem.
