Can not create System Restore

Hello,

I ahve tried installing Vista Premimum twice fresh install originally had XP. I get error shadow provider had an error 0x80042306.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

What programs are u installing ? There maybe a program that could be conflicting with Vista's restore point.

Have you tried to create a system restore point as soon as Vista loads for the first time?
