Hello,
my pc wont install GTA4 for the pc
but i have all the stuff...
but it still says my system isn't compatable
with %P..
please could someone tell me what this means!!!!

Dude omg i have the same problem.... i JUST got gta 4 and my system is not compatible with %p...... i need help myself but im not sure if i have all the requirements...i mean my vista is a home premium one and i am very angry... i need help too :(

Ok, i found out that if ur vista u go to www.softwarepatch.com/windows-vista-sp1.html
or just copy and paste it to ur web search thingy
ok now u scroll down to the link that says download then let that finish then is will restart ur computer and go through a download thingy abob
then you put in 1st disc then follow screen instructions

Thats wrong all u do is go to google then write windows vista (plus service pack 1)
then go down to the 5th one down then click it
then you scroll down to where it says [click here to download] then it will start downloading

Go to your dvd than enter a folder named GTAIV right clikc on the setup go to propories than to the 2nd bar and use to fuction that allows u to run the program through XP packegaes...

If you dont have Vista SP1 thats probably why. As you dont have any service pack installed then its trying to say its not compatible with Vista SP0. lol i think thats why.

HONESTLY. the game isnt that important that im gonna download service pack 1. i like having windows dreamscene and my animated desktop and the other features that were blocked out by sp1.
i think ill live. I think they should stop making games require sp1
