Dsl connected but no browsing.

Hello,
i think there s virus in my laptop thats has stopped me from accessing to the internet. i connect to dsl broadband, and it connects without any problem, but my browsers and messengers, etc dnt detect the internet. whts ths?? can any one help plz?
