Hello,

I have a HP a1320n Pavilion DEsktop PC, I have lost my restore disk, and apperently had already made my one backup copy. I can't locate this one either, is there a way to make another recovery disk? I need to format my C: and set it up so I can sell my PC.

Thanks,

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Also, I was wondering. If my recovery partion is separate, can I format the C:, and recover from the partion of the HD that has the recovery information on it? Or will formatting my HD kill the partions as well?

Really, you don't know what you're are doing giving this person bad advice to go to a MS site. Can you read? He needs help recovering his pc, not help with setup disks dummy.
