Hello,
Can I use a joystick with Far Cry 2? Looks like it is only mouse and keyboard for controls.
Help if you can.Configuration: Linux Firefox 2.0.0.17

Hello,
Far cry 2 will pick up xbox 360 controller for windows, but you cannot change the key mapping. It does not pick up my other joysticks, but you can use a program like xpadder(works with any joystick) to remap the joystick keys for other joysticks. If you use the 360 i still havn't found a way to remap it with Far Cry 2.

I only play Far Cry 2 with a Joystick. I use a modified MadCatz PantherXL. This is a combination Trackball and Joystick device. The trackball has been modified using the base of a USB mouse to detect the trackball movement. A USB joystick controller has been added and wired up to the joystick buttons and x y axis. There are a couple of keyboard emulators out there to map a joystick button and movement to keyboard buttons. Check this out for more info: http://www.stevehailer.com/mods/mods/Main.html
