Hi,

Were you able to fix this? I am having the same problem.

After I put a cd in my cd/dvd recorder and I copy files, the files are not on the cd. If I restart my computer and put the cd in, they appear. Can someone please let me know how I can fix this?

Hi joe,
in the sense you said the point is that you dvd writers lens is out of service and now it read's some files at time it doesn't due to this you really may need to change you writer

I also had the same problem but still I could not get the solution of this problem. I think that it is related to non genuine vista. I have never seen such problem with genuine vista or xp.
