I want to set a background color for 3 cond

Hello,
i want to write a code for set background color for a cell using macros..
so there are three condition there one is lessthan,greaterthan,equalto...the thing is i want to compare with dates for ex..value is 23500 in somewhere in excel sheet...the condition is 17/12/08 is a todays date then 26/12/08 is a targeting date to finish the work but some happens that work it will be exceed upto 29/12/08...in this case i want to set the value cell color as red...and second condition is if the work it will be done by that particular date itself..in this case i want to set the cell back collor as yellow....then third condition is that work is finished by before itself...in this case i want to set the cell back color as blue...so this the condition...please help me to do this program...

then i want to check this same as upto 10 years of values...


help me please...
