Can't cancel Ares downloads

Hello,
I cant cancel files that I was downloading,they are just in the "connecting" status,I can still search for things tho.What can I do to cancel the files?I tried uninstalling and installing it but nothing,they are still there,I really need help....

Download the program unlocker and you can delet the download in the folder with a right click and choose unlocker and delet.

Hey am having the problem where I cant cancel Ares downloads...u suggested that u download the program unlocker...but my question is where do I find it to download it

I did the following and it fixed the same problem you have. I stopped the Ares process. I uninstalled Ares. Then I deleted the Ares folder and it's remaining contents in Program Files. Then I reinstalled Ares and it works fine now.

Can someone please talk english and not comuter talk and tell me how to delete items on ares. I tried to download a film and ever since i cant delete anything and it won't let me download new things. I tried uninstalling ares and den installing it again but it's still d same please sum1 write back to me. Ppl r on about a rogram unocker how exactly do you find dat? Write back ASAP tanx
