If the PC is restarting, you either have an overheating problem or your power supply is inadequate. PSU recommendations have changed...it's better to have a single +12v rail with mega amperage than multiple +12v rails of 18A each. You should have a minimum of 500W with at least 30A on the +12v rail & it should be from a reputable name brand...not a generic cheapo. The PSUs that come prepackaged with a case are usually weak crap, unless you pay $100+ for the case. Even then, you'd have to check the specs to be sure. |
