Un able to uninstall avast antivirus

Hello,
iam unable to uninstall avast anti virus. i tried control panel, add/remove prog. but it is not working. plzz help me how to uninstall.. iam using sp2 os. thanx....

Configuration: Windows XP2
Opera 9.52

Did you find out how to get avast out of your system i tryed removing and cant get part of it out you have any info
