Found new hardware wizard

After i installing windows xp pro i find the winamp installation not complet so the winamp is not work and i find a masseg say (found new hardware wizard) and when i choose(install the software automatically.recommended) wizard go to search and finally i saw message say( the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the
necessary software......................can you help me please
