Hello,

i have an internet connection that that connects directly into one of my pc..
i plugged another lan card to that pc so that i can share its connection. using a pc to hub connection, from the pc to a hub.
i shared them using an edimax hub into 4 another pc's... now i bought a laptop and an tp link wireless router 54m. how can i share the internet connection going to the wireless router and and into my laptop?

i put another lan card to the pc, turning it into a pc that has 3 lan cards... and connect the wreless router. but that doesn't seem to work.

i also tried connecting the wireless router to the edimax hub (hub to hub), going to the laptop.. but that doesn't seem to work too.. im confused.

Configuration: Windows XP

You connect your devices in the following order

internet cable into router WAN port (the WAN "Wide Area Network" is the input port)

connect ethernet cable from router to hub WAN or "input" ( you might need a special "crossover cable" - see the documentation for the HUB)

each PC ethernet cable connects to hub (no change from current setup)

connect the "master PC" to the router (the PC that currently is directly connected to the internet)

delete "internet sharing" that you have enabled on the master PC (it's not needed)

optional remove second and third ethernet cards from the master PC

Configure the wireless connect from the "master" PC (note: you can only configure the router from a PC directly connected to the router)

I connected the internet line to my router's wan and from it to the master pc. i didn't connect my old ethernet switch, that has 4 pc's connected, just yet. and as a log in to my router's menu, i can't get the master pc to connect to the internet if it passes through the router. i filled in the PPPoE and stuff.. still i can't get it to connect.

here in the philippines, i'm subscribed to a broadband connection that is configured to single computers.

couldn't i just connect the router to the pc leaving all the setup as is. however, when i do these. it disconnects the internet connection.

im confused.. -_-
