Cant play downloaded limewire songs

Hello,
I have recently downloaded limewire and i have also downloaded a song
but now I cant play them on my windows media player? Is there a software to play it?
i hope someone could help me

You apparently do not have the proper codecs to play the songs.

Make sure that what you are dowloading is eithe ***.mp3 or***.wma
