I could n't format my micro sd card -2gb

Hello,
i am using htc pda mobile, yesterday when i opened my file explorer in my mobile my memory card is not ahowing any existed files, but memory card is showing 1.5gb when i checked for properties. now i could able to upload any files to the card/ but could n't view the existing file/folders. I tried to format it, it is showing one window and the message is you dont have sufficient rights to execute the action.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Its basicly because you have a corrupt file on your sd card. you will need to buy a new one as there is no way to format it. if you got the sd card from a shop your should get one for free.

Its Not Corrupt...
Anyone Trying To Use An SD Card (Usually 2gb or More) Will Not Work...
Among Many Of Vista's Flaws... This Is A Pretty Big One...

Try and format the card with one of those cheap china mp4 or mp5 multiplayers, it will force formatting to FAT16 at 8sectors and 4k. This may not be usable on your PC especially if you are running the NTFS file system but it will make it visible enough to be formatted to FAT32, you may need to force formatting to FAT32 at 32 sectors and 16k before your computer or phone will be able to save files to it.
