If that is your diagram then they are already networked. Do you want to do something specific between them? Good Luck!

Your diagram looks like mynetwork. I want to share files from my desktop with my laptop and viceversa. I have tried file sharing and getting rid of firewalls and etc...any programs? I want to use my Windows Vista laptop while watching tv to work on files and then store them on my desktop without having to use hardware (i.e. USB drive)

Thanks

Are you using the "cross" cable to connect between the PC and the laptop? You have to use the "cross" ethernet cable in order for this to work. If you just use the standard ethernet cable to connect between your PC and the laptop, it will not work. Also make sure you have the wireless card configured to share the internet connection.
