Pc plays dvd's but no picture

Hello,
I got a asus pc p2 or p3 i think.Got no onboard sound nor graphics but i have installed a sound card an graphics card.Its play sound but no picture is displayed wen playin a dvd,pls help

I would make sure you have the correct codecs needed to play the file. In most cases a player will try to play a file regardless of having the correct codecs or not.

Good luck!

If you need help finding a codec pack, check google for k-lite it's free and comprehensive. It includes all the codecs you need for playing just about any movie file period.
