Hello
Sounds like your Firewall/Antivirus software.. go to your settings and Allow full or custom access with this app. Might not be the problem, but that,s what is sounds like. |
Try to remove the game completely and then reinstall but not 100% sure it will work but you can give it a try! |
I have the exact same problem with same processor, an NVIDIA 800GS and 4 GB DDR2, running on vista 64 bits. I' ve read somewhere maybe something with the game itself, I will see if there is a patch for this game. Good luck! |
My friend has got a problem with his COD 4....When he goes to join a multiplayer game, he gets to the "setting up game" and when the loading bar comes his computer freezes and he has to restart. Any help would be great |
I experienced the same problem and just got it fixed; it's a problem with the Realtek audio driver that is configured badly at installation. When you go to the control panel, audio option, you must go to properties and show hidden attributes, the stereo playback must be enabled and that's it..let's thank those guys at Realtek for making something simple so complicated. We beleive the reason behind the fact that single player works fine and not multiplayer is due to the on-line communication system, voice chat etc... I did not fix the problem myself but I hope my explanation is clear enough to help you out... Good luck! |
lol my friend in a noob and i have a different OS to him...so where are the hidden attributes? |
and he also gets a message saying "DirctX has encountered a unrecoverable error. cheack read me for possible solutions" and we have no idea why...any other help would be good
