Call of Duty 4 problem

Hello, my name is Patrick and when I want to play Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer, it always says: "You didn't quit properly the last time you ran on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" Then it wants to find a solution to fix it but t can't find any... And that's my friends game and when I play it on my dad's PC it works. Never on my PC. So when I buy my own Call of Duty 4 game: Modern Warfare and with my own key code, would it actuallt work?

Could someone in the world please tell me how I could fix this problem. And I tried already downloading all patches and wanted it to added to the ame and whaen I do that, it says impx or something like tha doesn't work, so it can't be added to the game.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.4

Try lower your graphic options i had the same problem but mine just saids try safe mode.

I also have same problem and same massage but i have that msg when i want to play singleplayer and , i try also to play in safemode but doesent work anyway im tired of trying to play this game and still dont work damn im trying to fix problems with monts is there any help ?

Hi guys.

firstly ive had call of duty4 for a while now, (its my flatmates game). my problem is that it is completly uninstalled from his computer, yet when i try to play it the multiplayer online doesnt work... it keeps coming up with an error message about it not being shutdown preoperly and asking to run in safemode...

i now know it has nothing to do with it being on the other computer because i now have COD5 . And its doing exactly the same thing !!!!!

could someone please help me ....

thats 2 awesome games that i cant play for some trivial reason.

please help :P

If you have windows vista then click on the red audio symbol on your bottom bar next to your internet connection go the the folder in the top right corner and select to turn the jack off. should work fine now.

If yo have Windows. click the little orange loudspeaker icon at the bottom right on your start bar, when the window opens up look toward the top right corner and there is a little folder, open it up and disable front panel jack connection. It worked for me i hope it works for you

Hello Guys !
I think that i know what is the problem :) Check on your Callofduty Location for example
C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare is there a iw3mp. file . If u doint have it u cant play Cod 4 men xD
I am not a native speaker but I hope that its readable ;)

I get that aswell but when it says do you want to run in safe mode i go yes it doesnt change your contols but it lowers your graphics

I have an problem with call of duty 4-modern warfare it worked perfectly first but now when i start it stands can't locate DVD drive

If u have a crecked version and patch it it replaces the crak that u originaly placed in your cod 4 folder with a fresh copy of the original, but that should only happen when u try to run single player, the multiplayer part of the game should run normaly. Now if this is what's going on don't try to crack it with the same crack file you used originaly because it won't work, instead try to find the crack for the patch version u used last ( the last patch was 1.7)

Hellooo,

Im playing Call of Duty 4 right now and it always says that i cannot connect with one of my friends, and i actually was just playing with him all day yesterday and now all of a sudden it stops working? and it always says
"Unable to connect to host"

Somebody Pleasee Help me!!!

What is the complete installation of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare?
I needs some tips and solutions on how to install the single player mode of call of duty 4,because when i tried to install it the error message is: The DVD-rom could not be found,please insert cd click ok and restart PC. I already put the cd and nothing happens,i also created a virtual cd but still the error messages pops..Pls help me..

maybe you gotta put the crack?
oh and bones i have that file and also the sp file of that but what doesnt works in em its sp , and yes i ahve cracked version and appears run in safe mode and either i click ye sor no , it doesnt gives , so i have to install the patch again or what?

Hey i barely bought cod 4 today for pc and multiplayer doesnt work it says iw3mp error and i downloaded patch and it still doesnt work HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
