Activate Volume Control

Hello,
I have a new HP G60-120US Notebook PC with the Windows Vista program in it and I am trying to gtet some volume into this thing. I was told that I may be able to go to a website with you called 'activate-volume-control-in-the-taskbar" for some possible help. WQhen I enter this address, it comes up that I have the wrong address. HELP ME PLEASE???!!! The volume on my laptop is really low and I would like to hear some things better, Such as movies.

Look at the bottom right. there is a speaker looking thing with green lines coming from it. click that. i have an hp laptop running vista and thats where i control volume

Thanx for the info. When I put the movies in yesterday, you could barely hear it. I had even tried the icons on the page with the DVD player on it. For some reason, the volume is at a good level. Is there suppose to be a volume control icon on the main page of Windows that I am not seeing by chance??
