Then it might b a Worm or so...
Because they r hard to detect and remove...
Save all ur work and Format the HDD...
Then ur problem will be solved...

Hey brad,

i think i got the same spyware as you, and so far have so been able to fix one part of it.

to unlock the the task manager, click "start"->"run". enter "gpedit.msc". go to "user configuration", "administrative templates", "system", "ctrl+alt+del options". then disable the option "remove task manager".

i havent had trouble with my web browser, so i can't really comment on that problem. but have you found a way to change your desktop background? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Your issue is that because you have multiple protection programs....they end up conflicting with each other and cancelling each other out
it is ok to have 1 antivirus and 1 say spyware program but when you have 5 antivirus programs and they are all trying to do the same thing at the same time...think about it
put 5 people in a kitchen and get them all to do the same thing in one little space...is it going to work? NO they are all just going to crash into each other....same thing with computers and running more than one of any type of program that do the same basic thing

does this make any sense to you?

I never thought of it that way. im obviously not too good with computers, but i can understand your small kitchen analogy, seeing as how i have a tiny kitchen. thanks for the advice.

It seems a malware/spyware attack that has locks access to task manager, folder options, add/remove etc. you should run MalwareBytes anti malware
http://darfuns.com/download-malwarebytes/
and also Super anti spyware
